With a need to inform taxpayers about the big impact HCDE has on Harris County in a easy, digestible way and stay within their budget, it was clear that an animated explainer video would be the best option.

Styleframes
A few styleframes were created at the beginning of the project to establish what the look and feel of the aesthetics would be.
Storyboard
Storyboarding was crucial part in creating the final video because it safes time and sets a clear story and direction before moving to production.
Animatic
Quite a few animatics were made during this project because some shots didn’t make sense or work with the overall flow once a rough cut was made. But, after a couple of revisions to the storyboard everything started to come together.
