And Justice For All

Metallica’s 1988 album, “And Justice for All” contained lyrical themes of political and legal injustice projected through the prisms of censorship, war, and nuclear brinkmanship.

The songs covered issues such as, concerns about the environmental plight of the planet (“Blackened”), corruption (“And Justice for All”), blacklisting and discrimination (“The Shortest Straw”), and freedom of speech and civil liberties (“Eye of the Beholder”). “One” was unofficially nicknamed an “antiwar anthem” because of the lyrics which portray the suffering of a wounded soldier.

Selects

Here are a few selects of my favorite pieces during my time working on this project.

Previz

A previz that was made in one of the early stages of the process. It might of made for a nice transition, but in the end a different direction was taken to help make it a better piece overall.

Process

A collection of rendered shots that focus on the exploration of lighting and mood.
